Admission Process for Prospective Student

YCI  does not recommend students to enroll into an advance level course without attending the basic course or demonstrating good basic computing skills.

  1. Set up a meeting with one of YCI staff members to discuss your financial situation and other matters

  2. Register at least one week prior to class date.

  3.  $50.00 application fee (nonrefundable),  made payable to your concepts; this fee  will be credited toward student tuition.

  4. Arrange a payment plan that fit your budget

  5. Student should pay all appropriate tuition made payable to your Concepts

 

Course Retake Policy

  1. To retake a class, student must have her/his tuition paid in full

  2.  Class retaking is subject to space availability.

  3. Students have up to one year from the initial class date to retake that particular course at no additional cost.

 

Class Cancellation

The school reserves the right to cancel sections, to change schedule, or to make other changes that deem appropriate. Every effort is made to notify students of course cancellations by phone or by e-mail prior to the start of classes. If a class is canceled, all tuition and fees will be automatically refunded unless the student wishes otherwise.

 

Graduation requirements

For Basic Computing course student must score at least 80% in their final exam in order to receive certification of completion.

Student enrolling in advanced course class (such as Lotus notes Administrator, MCSE, Oracle) will be considered graduate after taking and passing the Industrial Certification at either Prometric or CAT testing center or any other authorized testing center.  

 

School Closing

The School will be closed on the following holidays:

  1. New Years Day
  2. Memorial Day
  3. Independence Day
  4. Labor Day
  5. Thanksgivings Day
  6. Christmas

On bad weather days, the school  will follow the Prince Georges Public School System.
